Cheap Hotels near Chamartín Station, Madrid
Those travelling to Madrid by rail coming from the northern regions may find themselves landing at Chamartín Station, one of the Spanish capital's two major train stations. Located in the North of the city, this rail station mostly connects with northern and western parts of Spain, so you can reach Santander, Santiago de Compostela, Barcelona and many other sites in between. Trains also go to Lisbon from here. If you’re in a rush, head to Chamartín Station and take the high speed AVE train from Madrid to Segovia and Valladolid. The other, somewhat larger train station in Madrid is the Atocha station and you can find connections to this station from Chamartín. Once in the city, grab the metro (Station Chamartín) with lines 1 and 10 to travel easily and hassle free to the city centre, and all the exciting sites you can find there.
