The Madrid Planetarium is located in Madrid's Enrique Tierno Galvan Park, near the M-30 highway. There are plenty of classes aimed to educate the public, some for children and others for adults. Please note that the classes are in Spanish. The Madrid Planetarium was built in 1986, it has a 28 meter high tower upon which is a cupola of about 3 metres. The telescope in its interior has an aperture of 150 mm and a focal distance of 2.25 m.
In order to get here, take the line 6 of the metro until Mendez Alvaro or bus 148 Plaza del Callao - Puente Vallecas.
