- 2. How can I make a reservation? ▼
-
Clicking the ‘Search’ button will bring up a list of establishments that meet your requirements. Use filters to refine your search. Click ‘More Details’ to see each establishment's profile. When you have made a choice, click ‘Book Now’. When you have completed the reservation process, a confirmation page appears with your reservation number and all your reservation details, including the hotel telephone number and email address. We also send you a confirmation email with all your reservation information.
You can book for up to 20 people at a single establishment and for a maximum of 31 nights. Close - 3. Could I get a better price if I contacted the establishment directly? ▼
-
No. Accommodation prices can vary according to occupancy, season and demand. We always maintain competitive prices. We often negotiate special, lower online rates for our websites. And, if you find a cheaper deal for the same room on the same dates, we will refund the difference (for more information, check our Prices and Best Price Guarantee on the Terms & Conditions page). - 4. What does BudgetPartner mean? ▼
-
A BudgetPartner establishment has been directly contracted by 30madrid.com. You can use your credit or apply discount codes (not applicable with other special offers) to all BudgetPartner establishments. Close
- 5. What exactly will I pay online now? ▼
-
When you make a reservation, depending on the rate type, you will be required to pay either a percentage of the total cost (this does not correspond to the cost of the first night) or the total cost in order to secure the booking. This online payment is made in euros (other currencies may be shown for your information only and may vary according to the exchange rates). Close
- 6. I booked a non-refundable reservation. When will I be charged? ▼
-
You will be charged at any time after the reservation has been made. Please make sure the credit card you used to make your reservation is valid and has sufficient funds before your arrival. If the payment fails, the hotel may cancel the reservation and the corresponding cancellation policy will apply. Close
- 7. Is the payment system secure? ▼
-
Yes. The information you provide during the payment process is DigiCert encrypted and is not supplied to any other entity. THE SECURITY OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS OF PARAMOUNT IMPORTANCE TO US. All transactions occur in a secure site area using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software from DigiCert. SSL encrypts the information you input on the site ensuring that no third parties can intercept, read, or use the data. Close
- 8. How can I earn or use my credit? ▼
-
Credit may only be earned or used on BudgetPartner establishments. Every time you make a reservation for a BudgetPartner establishment, we credit your Budgetplaces account with 3% of the total reservation amount to use next time you book a BudgetPartner establishment with us. This credit is valid for 6 months from issue date and non-refundable in case of cancellation. Use your available credit towards the online payment for a new reservation, but please bear in mind that we must charge a minimum of 0.30€ for each reservation. To view and use your credit you must be signed in to your account; if you don’t have an account, you can create one in the ‘Create an account’ section of our homepage. If you need help to create or access your account, please email reservations@budgetplaces.com. Close
- 9. How can I find out about special offers or get a discount code? ▼
-
Go to our home page to find great deals and to subscribe to our newsletter. The budgetplaces newsletter lists all our best offers, and regularly includes exclusive discount codes. Close
- 10. What is Cancellation Fee Protection? ▼
-
If you pay the Cancellation Fee Protection, we will refund the amount you paid online in the event that you need to cancel your reservation within the time limit specified during the reservation process and also on the confirmation email. If you choose not to purchase the Cancellation Fee Protection during the reservation process, the online payment will be credited to your budgetplaces account. Cancellation after the time limit or no-shows will still incur the fees listed by the establishment. The amount you initially paid online will not be refunded and you will not benefit from the discount. Cancellation Fee Protection is not refundable and does not cover credit you used towards the reservation. Close
- 11. What is the difference between flexible cancellation and non-refundable rates? ▼
-
Flexible cancellation rates allow clients to amend and/or cancel reservations (subject to the establishment's own terms and conditions). The non-refundable rate is the cheapest option, but reservations cannot be amended or cancelled. The total amount is payable upon reservation, and no refunds will be given. Close
- 12. How can I change my reservation? ▼
-
Only reservations with flexible cancellation may be changed. You can amend your reservation either by sending a message with your reservation number to +34 607605910 using our WhatsApp service (available Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm, Spain time), or by sending an email to reservations@budgetplaces.com using the same email address that you provided when you made the reservation. This must be done within the time limit specified in the establishment's cancellation policy. Please note that all reservation changes are subject to availability. If the amount to be paid online for the modified reservation is less than the original online payment, the difference will be refunded as credit to use towards future reservations on BudgetPartner establishments on our website. If you have paid for the Cancellation Fee Protection (see Question 10, above), this difference will be refunded to your credit card. Should the amount to be paid online for the modified reservation be more than the original online payment, you will be charged the difference.
Please note that once the cancellation period is over, or if you have made a non-refundable reservation, you cannot change your reservation. Close - 13. How can I cancel my reservation? ▼
-
Please be aware that all establishments apply their own specific cancellation policies, details of which are shown on the website during the reservation process and in your confirmation email.
You can cancel a reservation by sending a message to +34 647950766 via WhatsApp (available Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm, Spain time), or by logging in to My account, and selecting ‘Cancel reservation’. You will receive an automatically generated email confirming the reservation cancellation.
NOTE: If you don’t have an account, go to ‘Find your reservation’, enter your email address and reservation number, then click the ‘Cancel Reservation’ button to start the cancellation process. You will subsequently receive an automatically generated email with a link to confirm and finalise your cancellation (please make sure to also check your spam folder). Please check your reservation confirmation email, which details the applicable cancellation policy, for further information.
You may also send an email with your reservation number to reservations@budgetplaces.com, or simply reply to your confirmation email. Close - 14. I haven't received email confirmation of my reservation ▼
-
Please check your spam folder. For BudgetPartner establishments, if you haven’t received the reservation confirmation email, or have lost it, you can still access your reservation details in the My account section of our website. Just log in by entering your email address, then click on ‘Active reservations’. If you are still having trouble accessing your details, email us at reservations@budgetplaces.com. Close
- 15. What is ‘card pre-authorisation'? ▼
-
In order to ensure that the card used to make a reservation is valid, some establishments may carry out a pre-authorisation (i.e. a temporary block of a certain amount on a credit card which is then automatically unblocked by the bank) in order to secure the reservation. Please make sure the credit card you used to make your reservation is valid and has sufficient funds before your arrival. If there is an error during the pre-authorisation process, the hotel may cancel the reservation. Should the hotel cancel the booking, please note that the cancellation policy of your reservation will apply. Close
- 16. Why has the establishment charged me before arrival? ▼
-
The payment conditions are always shown during the reservation process and in your reservation confirmation email. Some establishments have special conditions and ask for payment before arrival in order to guarantee the reservation. If you have chosen a non-refundable rate, you will be charged the total amount at any time before your arrival. Close
- 17. What happens if I cancel the PayPal billing agreement? ▼
-
If you cancel the Paypal billing agreement, we will be obliged to cancel your reservation as there will be no guarantee (for either the hotel or 30madrid.com) in the event of a late cancellation or a no-show. Should the reservation be cancelled, please note that the cancellation policy of your reservation will apply. Close
- 18. How can I get an invoice? ▼
-
For BudgetPartner establishments, the invoice for the total amount of the reservation, which includes the online payment plus the remaining balance, will be issued on request by the establishment at check-out. For fully prepaid rates, please send an email to reservations@budgetplaces.com. Close
- 19. Can I make the online payment by SDD (SEPA direct debit) bank transfer? ▼
-

We accept SEPA direct debit from the following countries: Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Ireland, Denmark, Norway and Luxembourg.
