Wouldn’t it be cool if each of the hotels, hostels, apartments and b&b;’s listed in this website had not only honestly written descriptions & photos, but a video or two made by real guests like you, not a glossy in-house promo, but showing exactly what the establishments are like. We think so!

Our budget hotels, hostels, apartments and b&b;’s tend to be different, unique, quirky, more tricky to describe, a video can show their true colours.

So here's our plan, we want you to help us make videos of each of our places and if you make a video we show on the site you could win a weekend in Barcelona!

Take your video camera, a normal camera with video mode or even a camera phone if the quality is up to it, to the place you reserved with us and film it, inside, outside, the good bits & the not so good.

We will do some light editing of the videos, adding music, and stitching scenes together. Then, we will publish the videos on our site. The best video will be selected by our team, if it's yours you win 3 nights in a nice apartment in the centre of Barcelona* or a cool i-pod, you choose.

Hints & tips to help you create a video for us

• Use a video camera, digital camera with video mode, even a camera phone
• No need to edit the footage together, just send us the raw material and we’ll do it for you
• Film your room, the reception, the breakfast room if there is one, also the street outside
• Make sure there’s lots of light where you’re filming
• Use slow movements from one side to the other, don't go back and fore too much
