The Estudio Lavapies occupies a wonderful historic building in the centre of Madrid, right next to the famous Rastro market and just 15 minutes on foot from the Puerta del Sol. The studio (20m2) is located in a 'corral', a distinctively Madrileño apartment building arranged around a central courtyard. The studio has bright modern decor and is ideal for couples: it has a double bed, a kitchenette, a cosy seating area with a TV, and a bathroom with a shower.
The Estudio Lavapies is situated in one of Madrid's most vibrant neighbourhoods, packed with tapas bars and cafés. It's just a stone's throw from the popular weekly flea market, the Rastro, held every Sunday, and only a short walk from the superb Reina Sofía museum of contemporary art, which contains Picasso's Guernica.
