The 2 star, 26 room Hostal Viky is located in the historic quarter of Barajas, very close to the airport, and the "Campo de las Naciones" exhibition centres. In addition there is a free bus shuttle service to the airport. The facilities have been recently refurbished and are tastefully decorated, and the rooms are spacious clean and comfortable. See a different side to Madrid in this area far from the centre, but easily connected by the frequent running trains. A normal barrio (neighbourhood) has a great atmosphere centred on the plazas and outdoor cafes. Enjoy cheaper cañas (small beers) and tasty tapas. The hostel is close to bars and restaurants where you can sample typical Spanish cuisine. Just 800 meters from "Barajas" metro station which jets to the city centre in only 20 minutes. the hostal viky is very clean and has great location. in 5 minutes by car to airport and in 10 minutes to subway station on foot. it is great to use their free transport to airport. unfortunately, the staff doesn't speak english at all. Translate this guest review
