The most famous paintings in the Reina Sofia Museum of Madrid are ‘Guernica’ by Pablo Picasso (1881 – 1973,  Spanish painter and sculptor) and the amazing masterpieces of the original maestro Salvador Dali (Salvador Felip Jacint Dalí Domènech, 1904–1989, Catalan-Spanish artist).

There are also other beautiful masterpieces by Joan Miro (Joan Miró i Ferrá, Barcelona 1893-1983, Catalan-Spanish painter, sculptor and ceramist), Juan Gris (José Victoriano González-Pérez, 1887–1927, Spanish painter and sculptor), Eduardo Chillida (Eduardo Chillida Juantegui, 1924–2002, Spanish Basque sculptor), Antoni Tapies (Barcelona 1923, Catalan-Spanish painter), Pablo Gargallo (Pablo Emilio Gargallo, 1881–1934, Spanish sculptor and painter), among many others.
