Si vais os recomiendo un bar -restaurante que se llama El Rincon de Sanabria,no espereis grandes lujos pero es un bar de barrio donde te ponen tu tapita gratis,dificil en Madrid..y platos a muy buen precio. Die Unterkunft (1. Stock) war ausgesprochen sauber und in einer kleinen Seitengasse von Huertas günstig gelegen (zum Prado zu Fuß 5 min.; zum puerto del sol über die plaza ana rund 15 min.; zum größten Park Madrids rund 15 min.). Es gibt viele Möglichkeiten, abends in Bars oder Tavernen zu essen und trinken. Der Eigentümer war sehr freundlich und angenehm zurückhaltend. Um die Ecke ist gleich ein schickes Cafe, in dem man morgens einen guten Kaffee und ein kleines Frühstück gekommt. Le camere da letto sono un pò piccole (alcune delle quali anche rumorose) ma confortevoli. Durante la doccia, a volte, l'acqua calda non è continua e si alterna con l'acqua fredda. I servizi igienici sono puliti ma andrerebbero ristrutturati a nuovo in quanto vecchi. Se dovessi ritornare a Madrid non esiterei a prenotare di nuovo presso questa struttura. Quoi qu'il en soit, n'oubliez pas vos boules quiez ! Le prix est correct (70 €) mais pour 20/30 € de plus en cherchant un minimum, vous trouverez un hôtel avec des prestations bien meilleures ! Location was excellent- 5 mins walk to the Prado. 10 mins stroll to the puerta del sol, plaza santa ana, plaza mayor etc- with great tapas bars. Bedroom and bathroom bright, quite spacious and clean. English is limited but staff are very happy to help especially if you try your basic spanish. For light sleepers the walls are pretty thin but was lucky because mid week- maybe noisier over the weekend. Would recommend to friends and stay again in the future though would warn them abotu the safe which gobbles your euro every- time you open and close it. Il posto è molto pulito, confortevole e riservato. La camera è riscaldata e con televisione. Il bagno è un po piccolo ma anch'esso molto pulito e gli asciugamani vengono cambiai ogni giorno. Il personale è molto gentile e riservato. Si hanno a disposizione le chiavi del palazzo, della pensione e della camera, quindi si gode di grande indipendenza. What a great place. The building itself looks ancient, but when you walk in the door of the hostal, its like a little mediterranean paradise. The room was beautiful and very comfortable. The room was small, but nicely decorated, very clean (spotless, actually) & quiet. I really have no quibbles at all. We were very impressed with the accommodation. On arrival we were met at the door and taken upstairs to the first floor. To be honest with you we were very pleasantly suprised, it was furnished to a good standard and smelt so lovely and clean. Our rooms were fab, we were lucky to overlook the back of the house so it was lovely and quiet. Even the budgies on the window ledge added to the enjoyment of our stay, after all its not very often I get the luxury of hearing birds singing in the morning. The rooms were lovely, and furnished to a much better standard than some 3* hotels I have stayed in. The location was perfect with lots of little squares within easy reach to sit, drink sangria and watch the world go by. We did incorporate a little culture as we went on an open top bus tour around Madrid, and then resumed our positon, drinking more Sangria. There are plenty of places to eat and drink, prices were a lot lower than we expected, therefore having such a fab weekend. Would recommend Madrid and this accommodation to anybody. Heritage Resort reception staff were most helpful and cheerful - best we have ever encountered! Views from balconies and pools were splendid. Only difficulty was in reading the poorly designed maps available at Reception as we were driving a rental vehicle and limited parking available on street. Buy a map of area for 4 e! Recibe mas de lo que paga. EL lugar es limpio y ordenado pero no tiene elevador y puede ser un poco incomodo si tiene mucho equipaje. El dueño es muy amable pero no esta todo el tiempo en el hostal y los encargados no tienen mucha informacion turistica. Tenga en mente que ud. va a un hostal y no a un hotel de 5 estrellas con conserje o personal a su disposicion. The hostal was very clean and the staff was friendly. They helped me with my baggage because there`s no elevator. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. The only thing I didn`t like was that the room was a little bit noisy but I think that`s in quite every hostal in Spain the same. And the hostal is very close to the Prado Palacio Real Plaza Mayor. Super location near city centre but far enough away from the noise. Management friendly and helpful. Bed double was extremely uncomfortable - too short too narrow and way too hard. Bathtub was half-size with plug at wrong end and inconsistent supply of hot water - instant gas hot water system in Pension unable to cope. Une première chambre nous avait été attribuée située entre la cuisine et le bureau nous avions donc le bruit du téléphone et le matin le bruit du gardien se faisant chauffer son café. De plus toute la nuit nous avons eu le bruit du chauffage qui craquait au niveau du plafond. The Hostal Armesto is excellently situated in the heart of Madrid in an old and very picturesque as well as lively quarter. The most important museums and sights can be reached on foot. From the metro station Anton Martin it is a 5 minutes walk to the hostal. The hostal is a converted flat on the first floor of a typical bourgeois dwelling-house. The room we lived in was not very big but spacious enough for two and very clean towels are changed daily. We had the room next to the entrance door so the only disadvantage was that there you hear every noise from the staircase. The receptionist spoke little English but was very friendly and accommodating and helped us with our luggage. In the streets around the hostal you find lots of bars cafés and restaurants.
