The Reconquista is a two star hostel situated in the centre of Madrid, in the so-called art triangle, 200 metres from places as important as the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, the Prado Museum and the Reina Sofia Modern Art Museum. Surrounded by great tourist sights like the famous square “Puerta del Sol” only 5 minutes from the hostel, as well as great shopping areas, cinemas, theatres, bars and a multitude of typical restaurants for meals out or Tapas. The Reconquista is a great way of enjoying the Spanish capital in comfortable, cheap accommodation. Furthermore, there is plenty of public transport to and from the hostel. Very well located, right in the city centre, close to museums, shops and restaurants. No need for public transport ! And in a quiet street !

Bonjour, Dans notre cas de ce type de réservation (Hostal)la simplicité est la plus importante chambre propre avec toilettes et douche à l'intèrieur.Le petit déjeuner serait un plus dans ce type d'hostal. MERCI

Pulito, posizione centrale ottima. Proprietaria gentile e premurosa. In sostanza un'ottima soluzione, da consigliare. Forse una piccola colazione la mattina sarebbe l'ideale.

ottima la posizione ,in una via tranquilla e vicinissima sia al centro che ai punti di interesse ed ai servizi metro . La Sig. Carmen gentile e disponibile (anche deposito bagagli e prenotazioni tour).

The Reconquista was a well appointed, clean hotel with very helpful manager. The rooms were a good size but unfortunately the two beds were the most uncomfortable we had ever slept in. Very hard springs - need renewing.
