About Hostal Marlasca |
|
The two star, 30 room Hostal Marlasca is located in the heart of Madrid, in a completely renovated building which preserves all the charm of the past. This fantastic location is swimming in great tapas bars, shopping, and small pedestrian streets worth exploring. Head down to the Plaza Mayor, originally built by the Hapsburg regime, and imagine bullfights which used to entertain the masses. ...more details > In the centre of the Plaza is the equestrian statue of Felipe III (with characteristic nose) by the Italian Juan de Bolonia. Near the plaza are loads of great tapas options: Casa Antonio on Calle de Latrones 10 is a classic Madrid watering hole for snacking on tapas with loads of character and vermouth on tap. Cafe Iruna on Calle de las Hileras 8 is a cafe-restaurant where some evenings (especially at weekends) it turns into a small opera stage as punters and waiters belt out the classics. The Hostel has been completely restored and offers all the modern amenities, while retaining the charm of its past. All rooms are equipped with classic furniture, telephone, TV, heating, air conditioning, security box and complete bathroom. All of them have been carefully decorated so you can enjoy their comfort and style. < hide more details
