Wander around the streets of the centre, go bar hopping for Madrid’s best tapas in the Santa Ana area of the city, also walking distance from the hostel. Visit the enormous Royal Palace overlooking the Sabatini gardens. Head up the Calle Fuencarral for the hippest shops in the city. Also close is the hippie area, Malasaña, and the fashionable gay Chueca area of the city. Café de Chinitas is just around the corner from the accommodation, which serves up traditional cuisine and offers flamenco shows.There are very basic triples, doubles and single rooms either with only a sink, a shower and a sink or a full private bathroom. These rooms are for people looking to spend very little time at the hostel and want just a cheap place to crash for the evening, with very few comforts.
