This hotel is near the Gran Via, Plaza de España, Praciados shopping street and more. There is plenty of great shopping on calle Fuencarral which has all sorts of different and interesting boutiques with a young, hip feel. Nicely run place. We arrived on Friday afternoon at a time other than appointed and had to call the owner to let us in. He explained that some of the rooms had been suffering from a leaking roof and we were moved to a hostel down stairs, which was also nice. The location of this hostel is fantastic if you like visiting studenty bars and cheap restaurants. Though it was pretty well located for everything else too. The area is a bit run-down and full of character.
Emplacement difficile car les chambres sur rue sont extrêmement bruyantes; par ailleurs, facile car métro et commodités très proches. Prévoir des protections pour les oreilles ! Mobilier un peu trop basique : pas de table pour le petit-déjeuner qui est apporté sur un plateau, à caser où on peut. Sinon, public calme, sanitaires très propres et accueil très correct.

Our hostel was sooo clean, quiet, small, cute and also it is so close to the metro station, Noviciado. The owner of the hostel Faar is so helpful for everything (when we came to madrid, our baggages were lost and he gave us a lot of thing for free)ıf an internet connection is available, Duermo will be perfect.
